The weather was great today, so we thought that we would check out A Day at Del Val College. After driving around for about an hour we finally found a parking spot at the Del Val Marketplace, and for some reason they were not making you pay here! Bonus for us!! And then as we were walking into the event, someone handed us a bunch of tickets to use, another bonus! So the whole event cost about $3 for some a few snacks!
First stop was the kids tent. Above Dave is picking a duck to win a prize.

Digging around in the corn for a prize.
We watched some of the students showing their very large sheep.
And took a look at the pigs, who were up next to be shown.
Then off to the petting zoo portion. WE got to pet these little piggies. Along with, a duckling, a chick (born only yesterday), a horse, baby sheep, and a rabbit, just to name a few.
And the highlight of day!!
