We are on the NBC 10 Show!

View more news videos at: http://www.nbcphiladelphia.com/video.

Well sort of...we are in the background checking out the new butterfly exhibit at Elmwood. In addition the new butterflies the zoo has a few more new and exiting things going on.

But first before we do anything we need to stop and look at the turtles.

And here's on hanging out on the log.

The zoo has a new red tailed hawk, how not lives where the fox used to live. The fox has moved over to the old Fischer's home. the Fischer moved onto another zoo to hopefully become a Daddy.
The little monkey's were back outside for the summer!

And another new member a giant rodent.

And the best newest member to Elmwood is the Red Footed Tortoise!!

And the best part of Community Day!!!!

Dave, Pies, and I were sitting patiently waiting for the fireman to start their water battle.

And look who walks up!!

Daddy!
The Silverdale Fire Department was short one guy to help out with the water battle, so they talked Chris into helping them.

Up first was Fireman Mario's team, they won 2 out of 3 battles!!

Next was Daddy's team! (Chris is the one on the end.)

Daddy's team won one out of three battles.

Daddy's team in action!
The whole Silverdale Fire Company.

Silverdale Fire Company during the tug-a-war. (Chris is second from the end.)

They had Chris wear the Assistant Chief gear, I think it started to get to his head!!

I'm only kidding he was waving at Dave and I just caught him at the right moment to look like he was ordering people around.

More fireworks!

Pies had also bought some fireworks to do for the 4th. So we headed over the their house after dinner to see some more.
Dave doing some more of the snappers.

Everyone being patriotic with sparklers!!

Dave had Noel hide behind the tree with him, while we did some of the bigger fireworks.

A hairy eye ball.

A blooming flower.

The Cuckoo.

The angry bee hive.
(This one is sideways, I didn't know that I couldn't turn my camera to film it. The next video is the same way, sorry.)

Tye dye surprise.

Adventure at the aquarium

We have not been to one of Dave's favorite places for awhile, so we thought that today would be a great day to head to the aquarium. Dave was just the little future marine biologist today. It was so quiet there today, a perfect day to go, that they had all the touch exhibits open. Dave made sure that he went around and touched all of the sea creatures and asked the aquarium employees questions about the animals.

He first started off by touching the sharks!

Then over the the big tank to see if we could spot to huge sea turtle!

And we did, I think he was every one's favorite today.

Then it was off to touch the see cucumber, star fish, and sea anemone.

Both Chris and Dave said the sea anemone was sticky.

Then we had to stop to see if we could find all the fish from Nemo.

I think the hunt was successful!

Our next stop was to see the birds and to wonder why they don't fly away since they aren't in a cage.

He looks pretty small in this picture.

And another stop at another set of touch tanks to touch jellyfish, a different type of shark, and some sting rays.

Dave being a shark and Chris being a turtle!

And a quick stop in the shark tunnel.

"What are you doing hippos?"

It was a rather cold day, but we still did stop out to see the penguins quick. They didn't seem to mind the cold.

Just a quick video of some of the frog sounds that Dave likes to play with while we are visiting the frogs.

Our wedding video

My brother-in-law and I made these videos for Chris of our wedding as an anniversary present. I thought that I would like to share them with everyone. (My father-in-law and brother-in-law also make a video for Dave every year at his birthday. I will post these in the next few days.)

Our Wedding: Getting Ready

We were married on June 7, 2003. (Some pictures appear to be rainy--it was a monsoon on our wedding day--these are our true wedding day photos. Our photograpgher's lab lost most of our original wedding day photos and so we had to have the pictures retaken more than a year later. (It figures with our luck, the day of the retakes could not have been more perfect with bright sunshine and not a cloud in the sky). Sad, I know, but it was fun to do it over again. The best part was that at the end of the day we found out that we were pregnant with Dave. I was told that if you wear your wedding dress again you are pregnant... guess it holds true)

Our Wedding: The Ceremony

(Our ceremony was held at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Sellersville)

Our Wedding: The Reception

(Our reception was held at The Manor House at Commonwealth in Horsham. It was wonderful!!! Thanks Mom and Dad.)
