Boys Night Out!

Tonight, Dave and Chris headed to a Phillies game together!  They stayed for the entire game, so they arrived home at about 1:00 AM.  I think going to this game with Chris was one of his favorites highlights of the summer.

Seylar Night at the Iron Pigs!

Dave had to stop and get his picture taken with this pig for Sarah!
Welcome Seylar Elementary School...I think my camera was having a hard time focusing into the sun.
 Enjoying a hot dog!
 Watching the game intently.
 Having a grand time!!
A few shots from the game.

Dave wanted to make sure to get this picture for Sarah.
And this one for Sarah, too!

Phillies Day at Elmwood Park Zoo

Check out the Philly Phanactic hanging out with the porcupine.
The hawk getting ready to take flight.
The fox was out enjoying the morning sun.
And the wolf was taking a snooze in the shade.
The little owl also got a Philly Phanatic to enjoy for the day.
I think this one duck has been hanging out with the flamingos for a bit too long.

Philadelphia Phillies vs. Toronto Blue Jays

Today, was a historic moment in Phillies history! So of course Chris jumped on the chance the get tickets. Due to the G20 Summit in Canada, the Phillies vs the Blue Jays was moved to Philly. This meant that even though the Phillies were playing on their own field, they acted as the away team. Do they had their batting practice second and were wearing their away team jerseys.

Dave's favorite player, Chase Utley!

And here's Utley up to bat.

And after a few innings the heat got to Dave so we went into the stadium to try to find some shade and of course Dave found the Build-A-Bear Workshop again. So this time he created Speedy Victorino the bunny.

As we were leaving Dave decided to stop and have his picture taken with Steve Carlton, one of Pies favorite players.
Chris thought that it would be fun to stop at the water ice spot in Roxborough, where he used to have water ice as a kid.

And a few steps away from the water ice spot was the fire house that Chris would go to as a kid to see the firetrucks. So Chris was sure to point it out to Dave.
