Bucks County Zoo & Animal Junction
Today, for something different we thought we would check out Bucks County's only indoor zoo! It is a great little zoo that has only opened in the past year if not less than that. So they are in the beginning stages of everything, but it made for a great morning. Above are the turtles of course, the one in the back, his name is Big Bubba, an African spur thigh tortoise.
This one was a little shy ring-tailed lemur.

This is the last weekend to see this cute white tiger.
One of the zoo keepers woke Arthur the Aardvark up while we were there, but he only stayed awake for about a minute.
I saved Arnold the six-banded Armadillo for last because Nan saved him today! As you can see he is trying to open the door on his cage and he succeeded! Yes she quick pushed him back in his cage so that he didn't run away while Dave and I got one of the zoo keepers.

Meet and Greet with Alton Brown
Tonight , I had the honor as an early birthday present from Chris to meet Alton Brown the host of Good Eats and Iron Chef America. He was very nice and very funny we laughed the whole time. Above you can see that Alton is pushing me out of the picture. This is because my Mom blamed it on me when he asked why we did not bring him any tea. One of the photographers did get a picture of us together and she will hopefully email it to me this week. If so I'll make sure to post it.

He was very animated during the show which made taking pictures rather difficult they were blurry most of time. But this one turned out pretty good.
Alton eating some delicious looking ribs in front of the entire 1,000 people audience. He also made chocolate cake and cashew ice cream. It was a great night and a chance of a lifetime to meet Alton Brown. Thank you for the great birthday present, Chris!

Cookies made by Dave!
Dave thought that it would be nice if he made cookies for Chris and I for Valentine's Day. So that is what he did!

You know there's a lot of snow when . . .
The plow truck gets stuck outside your house!
Chris helped to dig him out but . . .
He needed to be pulled out with the bigger plow.
So they went back to the township building for a bigger truck to finish plowing out the development.
Yes that is our mailbox just sticking out of the snow slightly. Think they will deliver our mail tomorrow? We have no where to go with the snow to dig it out! And that is our neighbors van I don't think they will be going anywhere anytime soon, do you?!
And it's really bad when you almost loose your dog in the snow! She has to bound around like a rabbit to get anywhere.

Hilltown's finest at work
There's nothing working for 14 hours and having to come home and shovel the driveway just to park your car.
But the trusty K-9 was sure to help out.

our neighbors van keeps getting smaller!
And I think our mailbox might disappear too!

We won't know till March 2nd.....or maybe it will be a treat for on the airplane on the way to Disney!

An escape before more snow!
We thought that it might be good to get out of the house for a little bit today, due the big snowstorm to hit us again tonight. So it was off to lunch at Applebee's, then Chuck E Cheese and then to Target.

The tickets have arrived!
Today we picked up our Disney tickets!! Well, not our actual tickets just our Disney Vouchers we will get our tickets when we check into our hotel. We also picked up our Magical Express Luggage Tags. With these these special yellow tags on our luggage there is no need for us to claim our bags. Disney's magic starts as soon as our plane lands and our luggage will magically find it's way to our hotel room. Disney is just amazing!!
March is approaching very quickly, but not quickly enough for one very excited little boy!

Valentine's Day Party!
Today, Dave had a group of his friends over for a little Valentine's Day Celebration. The kids had a great time playing together, and the Mom's had an even better time talking. It's so nice to have a group of mom friends to exchange ideas with, and even nicer when all the kids get along! Thanks to everyone for coming over, we will plan a date again really soon. (Sorry for the lack of pictures, I was having such a nice time that I didn't stop to take any. This is the only one that I took of Caleb and Dave sitting down to enjoy some of the yummy snacks that everyone brought!)
Groundhog Day
The old old ground hog saw his shadow today, so I guess that means 6 more weeks of winter. We are hoping that the groundhog is wrong!
