I know that I'm a few days late posting our Thanksgiving pictures, but we hope that everyone had a thankful Thanksgiving. Below is Dave eating his first Thanksgiving feast of the day at my parents house. My mom had gotten him a tangerine turkey for at his seat at the table.
Here Dave is eating his second turkey feast of the day at Chris's parents house. This time the transformers were at our turkey dinner. 
Today and yesterday, Dave and I spent most of both days at the tea room helping my Mom to get it decorated for Christmas. Dave was a good little helper putting different decorations out around the dinning room. You'll have to try to get the tea room over the holidays to see the decorations. Also, we are a Toys for Tots drop off spot!

Last week, we got toether with some of our friends, Sarah and her sons Caleb and Noah, and Lisa with her sons Caden and Aaron. As the boys were playing together very nicely the mom's made these turkeys! The boys played together so nicely and everyone had such a great time that I don't think anyone stopped to take pictures of the boys playing. Later, that night Chris and I sat down with Dave and talked about things that he was thankful for. He came up with some pretty good things to be thankful for. Of course family wasthe first thing to the list follwed by Hallie dog, monkey and silkie. He also added fire trucks and his house along with several other things to be thankful for. I think this turkey will make a fantastic center piece at our Thanksgiving table.

And sometimes while they are baking Dave makes mom and him wear cat chef hats!!
My mom and Christine have been working very hard on making this gingerbread-house to display at the Peddler's Village annual gingerbread-house competition. So if you are heading to Peddler's village for the holidays, make sure to stop and look at the gingerbread-houses and vote for your favorite one!

While I was at work the other day and Chris still hurting from a bad back. Pies came over to play with Dave for a bit. They decided to head outside to rake our leaves!! As you can see Dave was quite the helper with his rake. I'm not sure how much work he actully did cause soon they were jumping into the leaves together.

It looks as though they are scheming to do something, doesn't it?!
First, are my good set of knives. I don't know what I would do without a really nice set of good sharp knives! They can cut through anything.
Second is my bench scraper. I use this for all kinds of things from taking cookies or french fries off a hot cookie sheet to cutting bar cookies. It has very many uses, some I'm sure I haven't even discovered yet.
And last but not least, my kettle. Not just because I can't survive without tea!! I also use this to boil water very quickly and then I'm able to pour the boiling water into a pot and make noodles in no time at all.

Tonight, we went to Bakers on Broad open house. Dave enjoyed the tour of the kitchen where his favorite bread is made! Above, Dave and Nan are checking out all the different kinds of flours they that use to make their wide variety of breads and pastries. We also had many samplings of their wonderful bread. If you have never stopped by their shop in Souderton it comes highly recommend by us.
