Ring-Around-the-Rosie!

 Nan taught Sarah ring-around-the-rosie today.  Sarah insisted on having their picture taken!

A Day at Del Val!

 First stop at A Day, the frisbee dogs!

 Next the animals!  Sarah spotted a baby cow!

 And then she found the pigs...which she instantly starting yelling "my pigs, my pigs!"  I thought we were going to end up having to bring one home, LOL!

 And some sheep.

 And a giant Neigh!

 Then it was time for the Hot Dog Pig Races.

 Peis treated Dave and Sarah to race flags.

 And then the dogs raced!

 Taking a look at some cool bugs that the students had on display.

 And Dave got to pet an African lizard.

 And then he held this really large bug!

 And before we left Dave and Pies took a shot at racing RC cars.

Thank you Pies for taking us to A Day, we had all had a great time!

Elmwood Park Zoo!

Since the boys had an early Saturday morning baseball game, and the weather was just perfect, we headed to the zoo in the afternoon.

 All the animals were loving the nice warm weather!

 Sarah really enjoyed the monkeys!

 And of course the turtles are still Dave's favorite!

 Look what Dave spotted in this habitat.

  A poisonous Dart Frog.

 And who did Sarah find for Dave?

 More turtles of course.

 This little guy was the only prairie dog that we saw.  He just stuck his head out of the hole a tiny bit and let out a bark and then went right back in!

 The turtles were loving sitting in the sun.

 And Joan and Jack the pigs were up and about!

 We got watch this bird have a strawberry treat.

 And the otters were taking a nice swim during this lovely day.

And the regal eagle was out and about.
