This year sure has gone by fast! It's hard to believe summer is over, a new school year is here and fall is in the air. The elves and I have been hard at work making toys all year long, and they are anxious to be returning to their families! 

With Christmas around the corner, I would love to start sharing news from the North Pole with you if that's okay. If not, just let me know by clicking on the unsubscribe link below. Share Bag #2

Dave came home with the share bag again today.  Once again it took him a bit to figure out what he wanted to take in the bag.

He decided to take Bolt this time.

The last Day of Summer!

Is there a better place to spend the last day of summer but at the big zoo?

And of course we needed to see every turtle at the zoo!

And here are the big turtles, they were out having a nice stroll on the last day of summer.

And the big cats were also out enjoying the nice weather.

It's as if this big lion is asking Dave how's he's enjoying his last day of summer.

And finally the newest member of the Philadelphia Zoo!

Sweet Freedom Bakery

I heard about Sweet Freedom Bakery several months ago and we have been wanting to go ever since.  Sweet Freedom Bakery is an allergen free bakery.  It was so much fun to see Dave's face when we told him that he could choose whatever he wanted in the bakery, since they do not use any mild products!!

And of course he had a hard time choosing so we came home with a couple of choices.  One of which was the biggest item they had, a chocolate crumble cake!!

Hero Thrill Show.

Today, we went to The Hero Thrill Show in Philadelphia.  All the precedes from the tickets go towards scholarships for kids whose Dad's were killed in the line of duty in Philadelphia.  Today, they were able to give away four full scholarships to 4 fallen hero's children.  

Of course first up was watching the fireman!  Can you see the one fireman hanging off of the 100 foot ladder?

He's coming down, the first firefighter is going to play the victim.

Here comes the second one, he's the rescuer.  Yes, you are seeing that right he's coming down upside down, 100 feet in the air.  

Almost at the victim.  The rescuer had to switch over to the other rope mid-air to lower the victim to the ground.

Lower him down.

And he's saved!!

Next up these two firman came down as fast as the could backwards!

That's right with no hands!!  And nothing but cement under them!

And of course there was a fire that needed to put to out!

Here come the firetrucks lights and sirens.

And fire is out!

Up next the motorcycle stunt police!

A drug dog searching this car.  When he found the drugs, he tore the whole bumper off of the car!!
