Also, as star of the week, they ask the parents to write a poem about their child to be read to the class. Chris did a great job writing a poem about Dave!
His name is Dave.
He is not old enough to shave.
He really has it made,
in Miss Silvi’s second grade.
He’s got brown hair and nice blue eyes.
To do his best he always tries.
If it’s turtle you want to learn,
to David you should turn.
He knows all about them, from where they live to what they eat.
If you ask him he will say “They have claws not feet!”
He is a great big brother and a wonderful son.
In our book he is Number One!
Angry Birds, Skylanders, he plays them all.
When he’s not video gamin’ he playing basketball.
Dave love pets. Did you know he has a dog?
After a hard day’s work at school,
he comes home and sleeps like a log.
We love our David.
He could never be replaced.
He makes the whole world shine
with a smile on his face.
