Chris called this morning, while he was working to say that there was a huge snapping turtle out at Orchard Hill. So after Pies got here and helped me unload Dave's last piece of furniture into his room (a new nightstand) we went to see him, the turtle that is.
Dave was telling Pies that he should not get any closer to the snapping turtle or he will bite his finger. "You know they aren't very nice turtles."
