Making a World of a Difference.

Seylar's theme for this year is making a world of difference.  They are teaching the kids as a whole school how they can make a difference in the world.  Each day of the school year a different child's poster is chosen to be displayed on the bulletin board at the front of the school.  Dave finished his poster off tonight. The kids had to answer three questions:
1. A talent I have . . . a knowledge of animal facts.
2.  Someone who had made a world of difference to me . . . Mommy and Daddy.
3. My wish for the world . . . that there are no more bad guys.

How could we not stay here on our next trip to Disney?!

Disney's new Art of Animation Resort, due to open summer of 2012.

Surprise Box!

Today, Dave was so excited!  Each day a different kid in his class brings in a surprise in the box.  There are three clues as to what is in the box, and whoever correctly guesses what is the box is the next one to take the box home.  That's right, Dave was the lucky guesser today!!  Today's clues were:
1. I'm white.
2. I like the cold.
3.  ???
(the third clue was never read because Dave guessed a polar bear off of just two clues!)

That clues that Dave came up with for his surprise are
1. This thing is a  cartoon character.
2. This cartoon character has lots of friends including a cowboy, pig, and dinosaur.
3. This cartoon character is a space ranger who can go to infinity and beyond.

Can you guess what his surprise is??  Come back tomorrow to find out the answer. . .

Share Bag #1

Dave was so excited when we picked him from school on Friday.  He was the next lucky kid to ring home one of the share bags.  So for school tomorrow he has to take the share bag back with something in it to share.  The object that he wants to share has changed about a million times over the weekend, but I hope that he has finally decided on what he wants to take.
A turtle!!  The hardest part was deciding what turtle to take.
