A Zoo-rifica 2nd Birthday!

The weather was so nice, we thought it would be nice to spend Sarah's birthday at Elmwood.

 A David Turtle.

 For an extra treat, the kids both got [pony rides!  This was originally Sarah's idea.

 Sarah wanted to ride the pony so bad, but....

 quickly changed her mind as soon as she sat down!  Maybe next time the draft horse will be working and I can ride with her.

Ant Farm

 Dave's ants arrived today for his any farm!

 First you put the ants in the fridge for about 15 minutes.

 When you take them out they are very slow, which helps to dump them out of the tube into their new home.

 Here's the ants, they are still cold from bieng in the fridge.

But after a short time they were up and moving!

Teacher Appreciation Day!

Since Dave's class had 2 teachers this year, the kids gave them each a thank you bucket of butterflies and gift cards to 31.
