Lansdale Mardi Gras Parade

 This year Jess and I took Dave and the girls to see the Lansdale Mardi Gras Parade.  

 Little Abby loved whenever the bands came buy, she would start to swing her legs and have a huge smile on her face!

 Jess and I were not prepared at all for the amount of stuff that they gave away during the parade.  Just about everyone that walked by was throwing candy.  In addition to the candy, we got milk, chips, ice tea, oranges, and cheese.  Next year we will be sure to take a bag with us!

Thanksgiving Day Feast!

 Today, Dave's class learned all about the first Thanksgiving!  Above each one of them took turns shaking a jar to make homemade butter to go along with the corn muffins they had made the day before in class.

 Mrs, Hager, read them a story about the first Thanksgiving and then went around the room and each child go to tell the class what they were thankful for.  Most of them said their mom and dad's, brother and sister's, the world...but what did Dave say he was thankful for?  His hermit crabs!

Bolton's Turkey Farm Field Trip!

 The kindergarten field trip started off with a first with for everyone a school bus ride!!

 All the kids got to pet a baby chick, Bolton's did not have any baby turkeys right now because they all grown and ready for you to eat in 2 weeks!!

Byer's Choice Grand Illumination

 Santa is resting up since he has a very busy month ahead of him!

We ran into Benjamin and his mom while we were at the Grand Illumination, which by the way was not so grand.  In fact it was rather very disappointing, there was no big production when they lit the trees, someone literally flipped a switch and that was it.
