Dave had Noel hide behind the tree with him, while we did some of the bigger fireworks.

(This one is sideways, I didn't know that I couldn't turn my camera to film it. The next video is the same way, sorry.)

Tye dye surprise.

Old Fashion 4th of July

To celebrate the 4th just a little bit more today, we headed to Fonthill's old fashion 4th of July. First we took a horse drawn carriage ride.

Then checked out the Tee-pee with some of the other kids.

And tried his hand at walking on stilts.

And last thing he stopped to be an English policeman.

4th of July parade!

To celebrate the 4th of July we went to Chalfont's parade. Above the boys are waiting the parade to start.

The bagpipers!

There were loads of fire trucks! Of course which Dave loved watching.

Dave watching the parade going by.

This was a whole series of miniature vehicles. There was a small school bus, fire truck, cement truck and tractor.

What a great horse!

Happy 4th Of July!!

S'mores and fireworks!

We had stopped and bought some fireworks earlier in the day, but Dave couldn't wait till tomorrow to do them. So he thought that it would be a good idea to have a campfire at Nan and Pop's house and then do some fireworks.

So first thing was to get the fire started. Dave helped Pop to carry the wood to the fire pit.

"Here I come!"

Watching Pop to build the fire.

Handing Pop some good wood for the fire.

Waiting the for the fire to get started.

Dave watching one of the tank fireworks.

A snake firework.

Nan being the Statue of Liberty.

The best one of all.

Nan put on the grand finale for us!!

And then it was time to make the S'mores!!

An ant rescuer

Our afternoon started off with a fishing trip! But Dave did just a few minutes of fishing till he discovered an ant stranded on a rock in the water.

So he was off on a mission to save the ant, by building an ant bridge to get back to land.

After, placing several more rocks in the water, it was a success and the ant made it safely back to land!

Elmwood with friends!

Today, we met Tyler, Kaylee, and Jen at the zoo! The boys had a great time checking out the animals together.

Chatting about the new additions at the zoo! Frogs!

And of course Dave had to make sure that both Tyler and Kaylee saw his favorite turtle!

They had a grand time running though the prairie dog tunnel together. Thanks Jen, Tyler and Kaylee for going to the zoo with us today, we'll have to make plans to get together again soon!
