A trip out before the big snow!

We thought that it might be a good idea to take Dave out today for some fun, just in case we do get the snow that is predicted to arrive tonight. So we thought Chuck E Cheese would be a good place to head too. Dave loves going and we get coupons pretty frequently so it's a fun inexpensive afternoon. You can tell by just the few pictures that he was having a fun time!

Yumm...Cookies!

My Mom had found a bake and paint animal cracker kit. Since then Dave had been asking to make them, so that is what we did today. The process was a little bit longer then we thought it would be. First you make the dough, roll it out, cut out the animals, bake the dough, let it cool, ice the cookies, let them dry then it was finally time to paint them.

Sorry the pictures aren't that great. You be surprised how hard it is to get a picture of a dog and three year old, a least one of the is moving, it's impossible to get them both to be still at the same time!

Baker's on Deerfield

At our weekly grocery store trip the boys decided that they wanted to try to make a Pillsbury cinnamon bread.
