Grange county Fair
Some goats.
And we thought that Beulah was big. This guy was huge, Chris's headed didn't even hit his back.
This is just one of the many bunnies that we saw. There were a few that were super fuzzy, Dave really liked them.
These are some crocodiles from Animal Junction. Animal Junction is run by a former Philadelphia cop, who got hurt during the line of duty and was unable to return to work. So Officer Joe is in the process of opening a zoo in Warminster, it would be the first zoo in Bucks County.
Dave playing in a little house.
"Can you build me a house, Pop?"
Waiting in line for the best part of the fair!!
Dave getting on Raymond the pony!!!!
And off we go!
You can tell that he loved every minute of his bumpy pony ride! (Jess we are working our way up to riding Snowball)
Dave enjoying some funnel cake, he worked up a good appetite riding that pony.

Horses, horses, horses
So off we went to see Jess and her horses. Here she is jumping with Kong.
This little guy is the newest one of the farm, Firecracker. Jess's horse, Freedom, will be the surrogate mom when they ween Firecracker from his mom.
Once Dave saw a kitty, the visit with the horses ended.
A few more kitties that Dave found in the barn.
And then Dave found the best kitten of all!!!!!!
They were instant friends!! Can you believe not one single scratch on Dave!? They played for over an hour together.
"Can't we take him home, Mommy?"

Happy 3rd Birthday, Caleb
Dave and Caleb playing with a house.
Caleb opening his presents. I think the farm set that Dave picked out for him was a hit.
Dave and Caleb eating some lunch.
It was so cute to hear six three year old's singing the birthday song. Caleb is trying to blow his candles out here. Sarah didn't realize that she bought a pack of trick candles. Like friends often do all the kids started to join in to help.
Dave enjoying a piece of the birthday cake. Sarah was so nice to make sure that she got a cake mix that didn't contain any milk products.

A Family trip to Elmwood Park Zoo
We thought that today might be a great day at Elmwood Park Zoo since the weather has cooled off a bit. The animals were very lively today. Dave really enjoyed watching them.
We weren't quite sure what the "Hallie dog" (wolf) was doing. He seemed to big digging a big hole and pulling apart this old tree in really big pieces. Dave watched him for quite some time.
Dave and Daddy taking one last look to see if they can figure out what the wolf is doing.
My buddies the prairie dogs.
Dave and Daddy being prairie dogs!!!
And of course, we can't forget about the turtles.
It was like this little guy wanted his picture taken!!
Today Dave thought that he would like to try to feed the sheep and goats. So we started with the sheep thinking that they might not be as pushy (which they weren't). But Dave decided that I should try to feed them first and show him how so I did.
This time it was Daddy's turn. Dave decided that he would just stand really close and help. Maybe at our next trip he'll hold the cone.
Th otter's were out and about swimming.
Dave and I crossing the bridge.
Dave, Daddy, and the Bison, which are Chris's favorite.

Silverdale Playground
It was the perfect afternoon to spend at the playground. The weather was not too hot and not too cool. It was just right. This is one of Dave's favorite playgrounds. Can you guess why? Yes, they have a firetruck that you can ride on. You can see Dave driving it (pictured above) complete with siren sounds from Dave!
Dave trying to figure out just how a see-saw works. I showed him!
Trying to learn to do the monkey bars!
Yes, with a little bit of help from Daddy.
